Backups are appreciated, but cannot upload backups

I downloaded a backup with the explicit purpose of testing something on the website, and if it goes haywire to restore the back up right away. But the plugin overwrote the one daily backup it makes right after I did the test and there’s no upload option. I’d have to upload everything manually while my website was down. I needed an immediate action. So I restored yesterdays version and lost 4/5 hours of work today. As long as I’m able to restore that with the .rar backup I downloaded before the test, it should be good. Again, having any kind of backup is appreciated, but still not happy with this process.
