    Does as it says on the box after a short preparation. Many options (too many for me, actually, but I understand that others might need them). Doesn’t beg for upgrade at every corner, but advertises itself in the source code (like many others, I still don’t like it). Many useful options in the free version, not for newbies though, as it can get quickly quite technical, and requires a lot of diving in all the settings, half of which are behind the paywall.

    Overall a good WordPress SEO tool.

    Thanks for sharing your review and experience with Yoast SEO. We’re glad to hear that you’ve found many useful options in the free version. Yes, there are lots of settings within the Yoast SEO plugin, but if you do the first-time configuration, and then let the plugin do the rest, it’s totally possible that you don’t have to decide on configuring the other settings and just leave them be. Of course, we do offer some tweaks and options for other users who would like to fine tune and might have other specialized use cases.
