How can I suppress Google Sitemap Generator without breaking WP ?

    Hello,

    I have tried different options to deactivate + suppress Google Sitemap Generator but there is an error message after deleting the plugin which says :

    Warning: include(/htdocs/wp-content/languages/plugins/google-sitemap-generator-es_ES.l10n.php): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /htdocs/wp-includes/l10n.php on line 1607

    I’m not able to understand the coding issues… I just want to remove this plugin without having an error.

    PS : i can go back to the former versions of my website easily thanks to my webhost. But this plugin is installed for too long to go back months ago. I have to find a solution.

    Does somebody can help me ?
