• I renamed a page “xxxx” to “xxxx old” to create a new page “xxxx”. However, after removing the “xxxx old” page and clearing the safari and WordPress caches, the menu parent entry in the drop down does not show my new page “xxxx”, even though I set it up as a child that parent page in the menu. I have checked everything I know in the pages but remained stuck. Probably something simple but I’m a new WP user and I am hitting a wall on this one! Any help is welcome. Thanks in advance, Gerard

  • You have to customize the menu separately. It is not normally built from what you define as parent-child pages.

How you edit the menu depends on which theme you are using. With classic themes, the administration can be found under Appearance > Menu. For modern FSE themes, go to Appearance > Editor > Template > Edit header. Depending on the PageBuilder used, the administration could also be located somewhere else. If you cannot find it, please contact the support of your theme.
