• Dear colleagues, I have a problem with the mobile version of the website. Facebook works perfectly fine on the laptop but not on the phone (m.facebook.com refused to connect). Any thoughts how to fix it?

  • I don’t quite understand the background to your question? When I call up your page, I see that you have also integrated Facebook. With Adblock activated, I get the message that the connection to Facebook has been blocked. If I deactivate Adblock, it works without any problems.

Where do you see your message? Do you also have an adblocker in use?

No problems on the computer but not on the phone. The problem is in the mobile version.

I don’t see any messages about this on my phone. However, the style of the website is not at all suitable for mobile devices.

    Hi @theskyslt,

I am unable to understand the issue you’re facing and how it’s related to the WordPress mobile app. Can you pelase give us a few more specific details? Thank you!

@sintow as @threadi suggestd, please open a different topic for your issue here: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/miscellaneous/#new-topic-0. Thank you!

I have now seen the problem on a few other websites as well. It seems to be a problem with Facebook itself, which for some reason is blocking the output for mobile devices. Probably coincidentally at the same time you can no longer upload photos via their app.

I see 2 options for you:

    • Do without this integration. This would also be advisable for data protection reasons, if this is relevant for you.
    • Talk to the Facebook Developer Community about this, someone there may know more about it: https://developers.facebook.com/community/

It sounds like you’ve pinpointed the issue pretty well. If it’s a broader problem with Facebook affecting multiple websites, reaching out to the Facebook Developer Community is definitely a good move. They might have insights on whether this is a temporary issue or if there’s a workaround for mobile devices.

In the meantime, considering the first option of discontinuing the integration is worth thinking about, especially if data protection is a priority for you. If this feature isn’t critical to your site’s functionality, removing it could simplify things for now.

Hopefully, the Facebook community can shed some light on this!
