Well once again I find myself unable to access any dashboards of my multisite subdomain sites that have domains mapped to them.

Previous I had this issue with one mapped domain, but it was solved when I got rid of the now deprecated “sunrise.php” and the associated line defining it in the wp-config.

Then suddenly today whenever trying to go to the dashboard for any mapped domain site I get “Error: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.” once again.

This ONLY happens to subdomain sites that are mapped to a domain such as yachtzrock.com. For sites that are NOT mapped to a domain like beatlesgear.heathallyn.com, I can access those dashboards just fine. This is driving me nuts, and so far my host is no help at all so I just have no access to those sites currently.

Any time I add any lines about cookie domains everything breaks. Setting SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL to false does allow me to access the dashboards, but I need that to be true so new blogs are created as subdomains and not folders. However for the moment, setting to false, logging in to the affected websites, then setting it back to true seems to still allow me access, so for the moment at least it’s working. We shall see if it continues.
