So I have a very strange situation going on. I have the domain, victorianeils.com. I have the domain in cloudflare, I have a CF tunnel going to my private server at my house. I have a Ubuntu server instance running wordpress. I have set up several wordpress instances before and had no issues. This one, however, is truly puzzling. When I try to go to the main URL when DNS is pointing to my server, it gets redirected to that wpcomstaging.com link…wth? How is that even possible? I have nothing in my DNS as far as redirects. I can set my DNS locally to go direct to my server at victorianeils.com and it comes up no problem. I can also get to the management console /wp-admin going through CF DNS with no issues. Its only the main URL that will not let me get to it and its redirecting somehow and I have NO IDEA how its even possible. Any one have any ideas? I think she had the domain set up in wordpress.com at one point but its since been deleted from there for months and months. There should be no way its getting any kind of DNS from there. The website itself was never set up in wordpress.com either. Its totally brand new from scratch. I am PUZZLED.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The redirect is set according to the HTTP headers at Cloudflare. I would recommend you contact their support for clarification.

Well, darn. I don’t have support through them. It’s just a free plan. I’ve never had this problem with them before. Are you able to see these headers somewhere?

Nvm I figured it out. Turns out there WAS a hidden rule that was forwarding to that URL…SMH. When I looked at the rule page, it was not showing up at all. Only showed up after I ran the CF trace tool, which I found thanks to your post. So, thank you for setting me on the right track!

Nice if you were able to solve it. Incidentally, you can see the HTTP headers in every browser developer tool. That’s how I quickly saw it.

You’re welcome to set the topic to solved if it’s clast for you.
